This notice explains what personal data Wirevane collects when you use this website and what we do with it.
Who we are
Renan Rasim (trading as Wirevane) is the controller of your personal data. Address: 19 Wellington Street, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, PE27 5AZ. Contact: wirevane.help@gmail.com.
What we collect, why, and our lawful basis
- Visiting the site. Wirevane has no reader accounts and no comments. We don't set cookies for readers and don't use analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookie is a strictly necessary one used when the site owner logs in to manage the site.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (running a secure website).
- Searches. Searches are processed on our server to show results and aren't stored by us. Like any page request, the search passes through Cloudflare as described under server logs.
- Emails. If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply. Emails are handled by Google (Gmail). We keep them for up to two years, unless we need them longer to deal with a complaint or legal issue. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (answering messages).
- Waiting list (only when open). If we open a waiting list for a planned feature, such as Wirevane Plus, and you join it, we keep your email address and the plan you chose. We only use it to email you about that feature, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We delete the list within 3 months of the feature launching, or straight away if we decide not to launch it, and in any case within 12 months. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
Who we share data with
Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google (email). We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US Data Bridge.

Every headline links to its original publisher. When you click one, you leave Wirevane and that publisher's own privacy notice applies.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. Email wirevane.help@gmail.com.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, email us first. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we're doing about it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we add anything that uses personal data, such as advertising or analytics, we'll update this notice first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
